Collecting Processing and Use of Personal Data

We do not collect any personal data from you when you visit this website. Personal data is only collected if you provide it to us yourself when you register for an event, subscribe to our newsletter, or provide it voluntarily. This data will only be used to respond to your request(s) and can be deleted upon request.

Cookies

When certain pages are accessed, a so-called “session cookie” is set. This is a small text file that is automatically deleted from your computer at the end of the browser session. The sole purpose of this file is to enable you to use certain applications. You can change the settings of most web browsers so that your browser does not accept new cookies, or you can delete cookies that have been received. You can find out how to delete or block cookies in the Help and Support section of your Internet browser. Please note in any case that the complete deactivation of cookies may mean that you cannot use all functions of our website.

Server Log Files

The WZTC website, www.wysszurich.ch, is hosted by Hostpoint AG (Switzerland), Hostpoint.ch; data protection information: privacy policy, which logs and stores certain technical data. This data includes the IP address and operating system of your device, the data, the access time, the type of browser and the browser request including the origin of the request (referrer). This is necessary for technical reasons to make our website available to you. The web hosting provider protects this data from unauthorized access using technical and organizational measures and does not pass it on to third parties.

Web Analytics

WZTC uses WP Statsistics, provided by WordPress (WordPress.com: Blog hosting and website builder; Provider: Automattic Inc (USA) / Aut O’Mattic A8C Ireland Ltd (Ireland) for users in Europe, among others; data protection information: privacy policy, cookie policy.)

Map material

We use third party services to embed maps on our website. In particular, we use: Google Maps including Google Maps Platform: map service; provider: Google; Google Maps-specific information: “How Google uses location information”.

Digital audio and video content

We use services from specialised third parties to enable the direct playback of digital audio and video content such as music or podcastsIn particular, we use: YouTube: Video platform; Provider: Google; YouTube-specific information: “Privacy and Security Center”, “My Data on YouTube”.

Services from third parties

We use services provided by specialised third parties in order to carry out our activities and operations in a durable, user-friendly, secure and reliable manner. With such services, we can, among other things, embed functions and content in our website. In the case of such embedding, the services used record the Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of the users at least temporarily for technically compelling reasons.

For necessary security-related, statistical and technical purposes, third parties whose services we use may process data in connection with our activities and operations in aggregated, anonymised or pseudonymised form. This is, for example, performance or usage data in order to be able to offer the respective service.

We use in particular:

Consent to Further Use of Data

Use of specific functions or services on the WZTC website (e.g., contact, newsletters or registration forms, and web applications) may require further collection, processing, and long-term storage of personal data such as names, addresses, and e-mail addresses. By entering and sending this data, you give your consent for this information to be processed.

External Links

We publish links to third-party websites on www.wysszurich.ch, in the Wyss Zurich newsletter and on our social media channels. The WZTC has no control over such third-party websites and is not responsible for the policies and practices of such third-party websites. This privacy policy does not address the policies and practices of such third parties related to privacy and security, data collection, processing, use, storage, and disclosure of personal data.

Duration of Data Storage

The data collected will be stored by us as long as necessary for the performance of the contracts we have entered into, or you have not exercised your right to cancellation or your right to transfer data to another company.

Your Rights

You have certain rights under applicable data privacy laws in relation to your personal data, including rights to, in certain circumstances:

• the right to revoke your once given consent to us at any time (Art. 7 (3) GDPR) as a result, we are no longer allowed to continue the data processing based on this consent for the future.

• the right to correct any incorrectly collected personal data or to complete incomplete data collected (Art. 16 GDPR).

• the so-called “right to be forgotten”. You can request the deletion of your personal data from us, provided that the legal prerequisites exist (Art. 17 GDPR). Regardless of this, your personal data will be automatically deleted by us if the purpose of the data collection has been omitted or the data processing has been unlawful.

• the right to demand that we restrict the processing of your data, provided that the legal conditions for doing so are met (Art. 18 GDPR).

• the right to receive the personal data relating to you in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request the transfer to another person responsible (Art. 20 GDPR).
