Voliro acquires Sixpec IP rights

Acquisition strengthens Voliro’s leadership in non-destructive testing and sets new standards for detecting Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI).

Voliro AG has acquired the intellectual property rights of Sixpec, the pioneer of Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC) sensor technology.

The move follows a year of collaboration, including the launch of the world’s first drone-based PEC payload in March 2025.

PEC enables safe, efficient detection of hidden corrosion without costly insulation removal or scaffolding.

Industry leaders such as Osprey Integrity, TICS, TEAM, and Georgia-Pacific are already deploying Voliro’s PEC technology worldwide.

This acquisition accelerates Voliro’s open platform strategy, ensuring long-term innovation for critical industries.
