SRF – 116 million Swiss francs for a new research center

The Wyss Translational Center Zurich shall be at the interface and bring together medicine, natural and engineering sciences, medicine, and technology. The new center is made possible by a donation of entrepreneur Hansjörg Wyss.

The Wyss Translational Center Zurich aims to bring together researchers from the materials sciences to stem cell research and robotics. Due to the close cooperation between the disciplines, basic research should thus reach actual application more quickly.
