Our Wyss Zurich Co-Director Prof. Simon P Hoerstrup met Nobel Laureate prof. Shinya Yamanaka at CiRA/Kyoto University last week. Yamanaka, who pioneered the field of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) at the University of Kyoto, met Prof. Hoerstrup for an exchange as part of scientific collaboration which has been established through the years.
