Our Commitment

The Wyss Zurich Translational Center strives to make its website as accessible and user-friendly as possible. We have chosen to align our efforts with internationally recognized standards such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1, Level AA) and the principles of EU Directive 2016/2102 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies.

Our goal is to provide all users – regardless of individual abilities or technical environment – with equal access to the information and services offered on our website.

Preparation of this Statement

This statement was prepared and last reviewed on October 01, 2025.
The evaluation of accessibility was conducted as an internal self-assessment based on the WCAG 2.1 (Level AA) criteria.

Level of Accessibility

The website of the Wyss Zurich Translational Center is largely accessible and meets most of the WCAG 2.1 (Level AA) requirements.
However, certain areas are not yet fully accessible.

Non-Accessible Content

Barrier: PDF Documents
Description: Some downloadable PDF files do not yet fully meet accessibility requirements – for example, in terms of machine-readable text, alternative descriptions for images, or correct heading structure.
Measures: We are working to gradually remediate existing documents and to ensure that newly created PDFs are fully accessible.
Accessible Alternative: If you encounter difficulties accessing the content of a PDF, we will provide the information in an alternative format (e.g., as accessible text or by phone) upon request.

Disproportionate Burden

Currently, there are no website areas declared as non-accessible due to a disproportionate burden.
